A Vision of Cars
Imagine a car that features the latest driving software
to give you a faster, safer, and more enjoyable ride. All
you have to do is get in and tell it where you want to go
to. The car does the rest. It plans out the fastest route
taking into account detailed traffic reports, and it even
takes things one step further: it drives you there. All
you have to do is sit back, catch up on work or just read
a book.
We believe the future is in the application of robotics
to machines in our everyday surroundings. The seamless integration
of robotics and automation will over time become essential
to everyday life. SeventhDigit's Hollar Consulting makes
that happen with experience, expertise and thinking out-of-the-box.

Experience
Silicon Microrobots
Seth Hollar has experience developing self-contained power-and-locomotion
systems on a chip including creating an autonomous walking
silicon robot. With our wide range of experience, we can
provide consulting in the areas of MEMS and nanotechnology.
From design to process fabrication, we have the knowledge
to help you develop your future products (see
reference here).
Distributed Sensor Networks
Seth Hollar developed the original hardware platform for
the popular TinyOS operating system at UC Berkeley. Additionally,
the prototyped hardware he created was eventually commercialized
for distributed sensor networks by Crossbow Technology (see
reference here).
Acceleration Sensing Glove. Developed by Seth Hollar
et al. at UC Berkeley, the Acceleration Sensing Glove senses
hand and finger movement wirelessly with accelerometers
on the fingertips. This was later used to demonstrate hand-controlled
computer pointer and hand gesture recognition (see
reference here) .
AllKeys
Macro. Originally developed to help computer users
use keyboard shortcut keys instead of the mouse, it has
become a full-fledged macro program with a number of features
including a program launcher, keyboard-based mouse control,
and a computer work monitor. See the AllKeys
page for more information.Services
